Our providers
David Boguslavsky, MD
Dr. Boguslavsky founded PremierMD in 2006 with a conviction that medicine should treat the whole patient — not just symptoms, not just diagnoses. A graduate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and UCLA's prestigious Helms Medical Acupuncture Institute, he is dual board-certified in both Family Medicine and Medical Acupuncture — one of a small number of physicians in New Jersey to hold both certifications.
When New Jersey's Medical Cannabis Program launched, Dr. Boguslavsky was among the first physicians in the state to register with the NJMMP, recognizing cannabis therapy as a legitimate clinical option for the patients he had already been treating for chronic pain, PTSD, anxiety, and other qualifying conditions. With 20 years of patient relationships behind him, he brought something the standalone certification industry could not: a real medical practice, real clinical records, and real ongoing care. He has since certified thousands of NJ patients and remains at the forefront of cannabinoid medicine research and practice.
Jackie Bruno, NP
Jackie is a nurse practitioner specializing in primary care and chronic condition management. She brings a warm, patient-centered approach to medical cannabis evaluations, helping patients who have struggled to find relief through conventional treatments explore their options in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
Jackie sees patients at our Bridgewater location and is available for telemedicine appointments.
John Ferreira, NP
John is a nurse practitioner with broad primary care experience and a particular focus on patients managing chronic pain and complex conditions. He takes the time to understand each patient's full health picture before making any recommendations, ensuring that cannabis therapy — when appropriate — fits into a coherent overall treatment plan.
John sees patients at our Bridgewater location and is available for telemedicine appointments.
Marie Gawronski, PA-C
Marie is a certified physician assistant with a primary care background that gives her a thorough, whole-patient view of every evaluation. She is known for her accessibility and the time she takes to explain options clearly — particularly for patients who are new to cannabis therapy and want to understand exactly what they're considering before moving forward.
Marie sees patients at our Bridgewater location and is available for telemedicine appointments.
Alexis Ramcharitar, PA-C
Alexis is a physician assistant practicing across PremierMD's locations, bringing consistent, high-quality care to patients throughout northern and central New Jersey. Her primary care background means she approaches cannabis evaluations as one component of a patient's broader health picture — always with an eye toward the most clinically sound recommendation.
Alexis sees patients at our Morristown and Hoboken locations and is available for telemedicine appointments.
Kayla Yanga, NP
Kayla is a nurse practitioner with a compassionate, patient-first approach to primary care. She works closely with patients who have lived with chronic conditions — many of whom have had discouraging experiences with the healthcare system — and creates a space where they feel genuinely heard and supported. She is particularly attuned to the questions and concerns of first-time cannabis patients.
Kayla sees patients at our Hoboken and Nutley locations and is available for telemedicine appointments.
Zainab Ali, PA-C
Zainab specializes in mental health care, making her an especially valuable member of the team for patients seeking cannabis certification for anxiety, PTSD, and related conditions. She understands the intersection of mental health and chronic illness, and provides evaluations that are thorough, compassionate, and free of judgment.
Zainab also works closely with our sister practices — QuietMind Health and Spravato NJ — for patients whose needs extend beyond cannabis certification. She sees patients at our Hoboken location and is available for telemedicine appointments.
Every Provider Is Licensed, Trained, and Genuinely Invested in Your Care
We do not hire physicians for volume. Every clinician at PremierMD is credentialed with the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission, maintains their state medical license, and participates in ongoing education on cannabinoid medicine.
We are also part of a broader practice — PremierMD, Inc. — which means your cannabis care doesn't happen in isolation. Your provider can coordinate with our family medicine, psychiatry, and pain management teams when your care calls for it. This is what real medical care looks like.
