As of 2026, New Jersey recognizes 18 qualifying conditions under the NJMMP: ALS, Anxiety, Cancer, Chronic Pain, Dysmenorrhea, Glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Crohn's), Intractable Skeletal Muscular Spasticity, Migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Opioid Use Disorder, PTSD, Seizure Disorder/Epilepsy, Sickle Cell Anemia, Terminal Illness, and Tourette Syndrome.

How long does it take to get a medical marijuana card in New Jersey?

At PremierMD, most patients complete their first visit within a week of contacting us, and certification follows at a second visit about a week later, after a urine drug screen. After certification, the NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) typically processes registration in less than a week. If you choose a digital ID card, it arrives almost instantly upon CRC approval. Most patients are fully enrolled within 2–3 weeks of their first inquiry.

Can I get a medical marijuana evaluation by video call in New Jersey?

Yes. The vast majority of PremierMD's NJMMP evaluations are done by telemedicine — we send a secure video link, no app required. In-person visits are available in Bridgewater and Nutley.
